Announcements

Announcements are available to Admins and Sales Managers.

Description

SupplyMover now includes the Announcements feature found in Settings main menu --> Announcements in the sub-navigation menu. Announcements allow your organization to prominently display announcements/notifications in the CRM platform or the Ecommerce portal to communicate new information to users.

The Announcements page displays a table of existing banners with search, sort, and action options.

Table Properties

• Status (color-coded)
• Name
• Message (banner text that is displayed)
• Active Dates
• Design (may include):
  • Color
  • Icon
• Dismissible option
• Location (CRM or Ecommerce)

Table Actions

• Expand / Collapse (button; displays a preview of the banner with chosen design options)
• Edit (button; when selected, a side panel opens with options outlined in Create Announcement section below)
• Ellipsis (button; dropdown):
  • Edit (displays side panel outlined above)
  • Delete

Search & Sort

The Announcements table can be keyword searched by Name and Message.

The table can be sorted in the following ways:

• Name (A – Z)
• Name (Z – A)
• Modified Date (New – Old)
• Modified Date (Old – New)

Create Announcement

To create a new Announcement, select the + Create Announcement button and a side panel opens with the following options:

• Name (required)
• Message (required)
• Color (required; dropdown):

• Icon:
  • 

• Display Time (determines duration of Active status; if fields left blank, then Announcement will continuously display):
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Start Time
  • End Time
• Company (will only display if client has multi-company feature)
• Dismissible (option; if selected, the Announcement can be closed by user)
• Ecommerce (option; if selected, the Announcement will only display on the Ecommerce portal)
• Save (button)

Announcements, while in an Active status, will display at the top of the page with your designated design. If multiple Announcements are active, then the banners will stack on the page.

An Announcement can only be designated to display in one location – CRM or Ecommerce.
